The Sunday Carvery was exceptional, with a delightful array of vegetable choices that everyone in our group appreciated.
It was disappointing that no breakfast options were available on-site, requiring us to go elsewhere for our morning meals.

What makes it worth it – and what doesn’t
Beautiful gardens to unwind in and a delicious Sunday carvery that was exceptional! ! The warmth from the staff truly elevated our experience!
Inconsistent service led to long wait times during peak periods. Cleanliness issues with furniture slightly marred the otherwise pleasant atmosphere.

Spent two nights in a Superior Double Room with a lovely view. The room had fresh towels, ample coffee and tea supplies, and a good shower. I appreciated the nice bar area with a pleasant beer garden where we enjoyed a delicious Sunday carvery. The Sunday carvery offered an excellent array of vegetable options that really impressed us. the room furniture felt quite old and could use an update. The hotel lacked breakfast options, leading us to find meals off-site, which wasn't ideal. Service during peak times could be slow and the staff didn't check in on us at breakfast, which felt a bit neglectful. There was some noise from others moving around at night, making it less inviting.

The specialized selection of teas in the hospitality tray delighted us. Spotlessly clean, the Superior Double Room made for a cozy base after exploring the area.
The lack of on-site meal options left us hunting for breakfast elsewhere, which was inconvenient. Occasional disturbances from others moving around at night made us feel uneasy, especially with no staff present to address concerns. The room had a cold and damp feel that could use some attention, becoming less inviting as the nights went on.

We really enjoyed the stunning sea view from our Superior Double Room. It was a great spot for our family, especially our grandson, who loved playing in the beautiful gardens nearby.
In my wife’s opinion, the bathroom cleanliness could be improved.

Good sized room with a lovely view, spotless bedding, and towels. The coffee, tea, and milk provided in the room were ample and appreciated. The bar with its beer garden was a nice touch, and the Sunday carvery was excellent, making for a delightful dining experience. Unfortunately, the bathroom could use some more attention, as there were issues with cleanliness that detracted from the stay. the limited parking spaces were inconvenient during peak times. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which helped improve the overall atmosphere.

Had a lovely stay with a stunning sea view from our room! The Sunday carvery was a hit, but the no breakfast option on-site was a bummer. 😕

It was just a strong match for a city holiday in New Quay (Ceredigion) with definitely value for money. The staff were friendly enough on arrival, though the food experience wasn't ideal. Consider eating out for meals to avoid disappointment.
